The bowl limits the amount of water your pet can pick up at any one time, yet holds 54-fluid ounces, so there's plenty of water for all sizes and breeds.

The Road Refresher has a floating plate inside which feeds enough water for your dog to drink, but restricts the flow whenever there is a surge of water, from cornering, braking, kicking, etc.

The bowl also has a Velcro(R) base to attach to carpet.
